I have been strangely fascinated by the rest of the world since a very early age. Nearly visiting every US state before graduating from high school, it wasn’t until joining the Army that I really ventured off of the North American continent for the first time. That was all it took to inspire the insatiable wanderlust that now drives me to new destinations across the globe.

Dubai City Drive

I had a couple hours to kill before my flight out of yesterday morning so another friend of mine decided we should take a trip around the city for a couple pictures. Sure why not…… it’s been a couple years since I taken a trip downtown. IMG_3137

I had to check out Burj Al Arab hotel. This is one of the tallest hotels in the world and is the only 7 star hotel in the world. Rooms starting off at $1,000. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burj_Al_Arab)

We also stopped by at the Burj Dubai. The world tallest man made stucture. (818 m / 2,684 ft) (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Burj_Dubai)

We took some pictures of the basic parts of Dubai also….. check it out.

I hear Mantech, Fluor, and Agility treat their people pretty good. And the pay is not bad either. All the big money is in Afghanistan with a security clearance. I say stick it out with KBR until you get an offer that’s too good to be true.
