68 dogs in 10 min – Eating Contest

 They held this hot dog eating contest in New York on the 4th of July that is all over ESPN right now. I can’t believe they offer $10,000+ to the first place winner and $5,000 to 2nd. What! These people are professional eaters. Can you believe that?

Their official job title is:    Occupation: Professional/ Competitive Eater with Major League Eating

I thought these would be huge guys, but they are very slim and slam down 60+ hot dogs in under 10 min. Check out a couple titles from the winners (Joey Chestnut) record…

- 241 wings in 30 minutes at the Wing Bowl XVI
- 45 slices of pizza
- 10 1/2 lbs of macaroni and cheese in 7 min
- 18.5 waffles (8 oz.) in 10 minutes at Waffle House
- 118 Jalapeño Poppers in 10 min
- 9.8 pounds pork rib meat in 12 min
- 8000 calorie Quadruple Bypass Burger in 1 min and 47 sec
- 103 Krystal Hamburgers in 8 min

I don’t know what to say. I’m actually speechless.
