2009 Seperations

cp_ballchainLooks like 2009 is turning out to be a messed up year for a few people. With the reduction of forces in the military in , alot of us contractors are getting the famous option of “chicken or pasta?” Meaning? Thanks for working for us, but, your service is no longer needed. You are on a plane back home. (Or to the destination of your choosing)

So a shitload of us can be loosing our jobs at any time. For me, this is good and bad. Good = I will be back in Asia taking some Scuba Instructor courses and back on the island doing my thing. Bad = no good income.I am not at my goal financially yet. :(

And turns out this year, I have 4 close friends of mine going thru divorces. Here they are with x-wives now wanting half their shit in less than 5 years  of marriage. How does any women deserve half  of anybody’s shit for only knowing them a few years? Esp when she came into the relationship / marriage with nothing? What a scam.

So all I can do now is… wait. Waiting sucks.

I don’t know anybody that talks in depth about facilities and housing. I don’t want to get too in depth on daily living. If you find a site out there, let me know. I will link it.

Hey man I am getting ready to fly to Houston on Sunday for my deployment schpill. I found this webpage that was like what to expect when you get to Iraq but I didnt bookmark it like a dumbass. It was formatted like a pamphlet or something. Talking about the housing and facilities etc. Would you or anyone else have this bookmarked. It would be a good link for your site. thanks

sorry to hear about the job unstability… i still think u can hit your goal on the savings…ive seen u work hard so i reckon u’d get what u want… divorces are indeed messy… it scares me to be in one sometimes (marriage/relationship) though i want to be married badly too in the near future… despite pessimism, positivity should rule more than the other… :)

Aren’t you glad that you never made that commitment and going through what alot of us are experiencing, I forgot you have your own issues or should I say you got your own demons!!!!!!!
