This sandstorm blew thru on April 17 2009. Looks like about a half mile high and an endless width. Reminds me of the famous pics from Al Asad back in the day.

I was in the water with my scuba camera and captured a bunch of shots of these 2 kids doing flips in the water. It was hard to get the timing down before the next wave slammed me from behind. But I was caught up for a while watching the fun…..
