You gotta love technology
I don’t really pay much attention nowadays to what all is new with technology until recently. I was talking to a couple soldiers and they were talking about all this music they have in their ipods or just a regular jump drive. Music and movies get passed around this place more then JD’s x-wifey! lol
I was copying another 25 movies onto my external and never realized I was sitting on 340+ movies and a little over 5000 mp3’s on a external hard drive that’s a little bigger than a credit card running on USB power. And I still have another 180GB open.
I checked out my camera with its 16GB SD card, the number of pics can be over 10,000 easily with hundreds of small video clips. Al I have to do is switch out some batteries and it’s all good.
And my iPhone is a totally different story. Do some research on that. I can open my iTunes and it configures all my contacts / phone numbers with gmail automatically. Too bad they don’t make a 60GB iPhone. I can use the space for my music & movies!
I havea few apps on the iphone now. Including the most important ones like: 5,000 bar drinks, 101 drinking games, and a couple scuba diving applications that can track your dive logs, mix gases, and do your deco times. Pretty sweet for only a couple bucks.

Sealifes are good starters as I learned. Whatever you get, make sure it has some kind of underwater filter. Either in the camera itself as a feature or an external red cover lens to put color in your pictures underwater.
Remember that big red clip on lens I had for my underwater housing for video? Same thing.
My new camera (Canon) has an underwater feature that tints the screen red a little. I’m sure I have to photoshop certain pics anyways.
Why you gotta be a hater on the Wifey?
I’m going back to Manila to St Francis square where they have all the chinese clones… got a $800 whatever phone/palm thing for $125. damn thing has TV and radio too.
But on other things like cameras… I’m lost, too much too fast. Whats a good started underwater kit for me? Sealifes are cheap enough.
